Inkwell - Deep Editorial Analysis

Inkwell is a character analysis tool that digs into your references and gives you detailed, rich literary feedback. Not generic advice - it actually reads your notes, looks at the relationships you have set up, and examines how that character appears in your actual writing.

The feedback is sharp and specific to your characters. You get insights into how readers might perceive them, where there might be inconsistencies, and suggestions for deepening their arcs.

Vineyard - The Infinite Canvas

Vineyard is an infinite canvas for plotting out your story. Completely limitless and expanding. You can drag your existing references straight into it, connect characters together, define their relationships and dispositions through a simple wizard.

Draw freehand, place arrows, add text boxes, drop in images - whatever helps you visualise your world. Watch your story branch out and blossom into something beautiful.

The best part? It is seamlessly integrated into Novellier. Your Vineyard connections now replace the old linked references system entirely. All those intertwining character relationships you map out are accessible everywhere.

MuseWeaver - Demolish Writer's Block

We have all been there. Staring at the page, knowing roughly where we need to go but unable to find the words to get there. MuseWeaver is a brainstorming tool designed to work with you at every stage and kickstart your creativity when you are stuck.

It inserts directly into your scenes to help you explore different approaches. Generate ideas and directions. It uses your existing resources, characters, and even your Tapestry stats to figure out the best routes forward.

Build your scene step by step and explore all the possibilities. Access it from the tools menu and click your desired insertion points to start.

A Note on AI Features

The AI features in Novellier are completely opt-in. You can ignore them entirely or turn them off in settings.

These tools are designed to aid your writing - not write for you. Inkwell is analytical, helping you understand what you have written and how it lands with readers. MuseWeaver is a scaffold builder, exploring the boundaries of where you can take scenes and providing rough outlines to inspire.

AI features run on a credit system. Novellier provides 20 free credits a month to get you started. If you want more, subscriptions are available at £4 for 300 credits monthly. Completely optional.

Other Updates

Title Builder: Two new flourishes added - Spindle (ornamental flowery design) and Cutlass (sharp elegant piercing design).

Resources: Inkwell section added to each reference. New Vineyard section shows all the connections your characters have.

UI Adjustments: Added a Panels divider in the view menu for clarity. View menu now lingers when changing panels for smoother navigation. Edit and Delete buttons moved above the title on references.

Bug Fixes: Fixed scrapbook addition bug where cancelling would trigger the add UI again. Fixed sort button overlaying the Add button. Fixed Scrivener imports and file permission errors.
